Subcontractor Lien Against Property Owner
Hello. I am currently building a pool at my house in Maricopa County, Arizona. Apparently, the pool company owner, with whom I contracted, has not paid some of his subs. I paid the owner specifically for these services and have proof of payment. I have just received a "Preliminary twenty day lien notice". Do the subcontractors have any legal right to come after me for the failures of the owner? What is my best course of action? Thank you.
