Everybody is different. I know sucessful investors that have never been to a seminar. I know other want to be investors who have spent a fortune on seminars and have never done a deal.
It is similar to asking "did attending a prep school help you succeed in business". Many people would say yes, many people who attended a prep school would say no, and many who attended public school still succeed and would even say that it made them more well rounded by learning it hands on.
The ability for the seminars to help someone depends on the someone.
