Starting An LLC - Payroll Question?
I know I will need to seek a tax advisor for specifics, however if someone could tell me the rules for payroll when forming an LLC when your only staff is the members involved in the initial formation.
My initial understanding was, that I could open an LLC and the members and I would be taxed on the profits we took home on our personal tax return. A book I purchased confussed me, when it stated that all corporations are required to file quarterly payroll forms to the IRS.
Is payroll forms only for additional employees? or does it apply to every member?
