Spreadsheets?

Does anyone have or know where to find a spreadsheet or other program for figuring the potential profit one could expect from an investment property? I'm focusing on single-family homes as rentals and would like to be able to calculate income and expenses, including vacancy, maintenance, repairs, etc.

Thanks,

Scott

    Scott -

Check out the products and services section of this website and go to software. If you don't see anything there that applies, you can either try to make your own or check online. I know that there are people out there who sell analysis software.

    Good luck.

I personally like Russ Whitney's mortgage calculator, it is pretty darn accurate (and free)

Hey, try carlton sheets course; its expensive at $100 bucks but its well worth the investment; he gives you CD'S an takes you step by step; to buying property online with software to general maintence and has over 100 forms you can fill in on a daily basis. Its the best in gaining buying and selling confidence; and that includes buying as notes too. Hope it helps; laura LOL

    Hey,

Having a spreadsheet is good; understanding all the numbers behind it is even better.

It is much better to build your own (it takes less than 30 minutes) that you fully understand, then to have one from someone else, that you are unsure of.
