Site Slow Loading

I have a Pentium 4, Laptop and cable connection. Why are the TCI pages so slow to load? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Well it could be a few things. If you do have a cable connection it could be that your provider doesn't have several lines.......simply there are many people on your internet connection at the same time.......2 the actual site is busy and the pages are slower to load, but I've never had this problem......lastly it could be that you are running too many programs at once and you don't have enough memory to process it all at the same time. This is called your RAM or random access memory

Hope this gives you some direction.

    Hi,
Thanks for the replys. The reson for the post is it is only TCI I am having trouble with. Yes, I do PC weekly, to include removal unwanted cookies and .tmp files as well as all internet files.
I am not a novice computer user. Which is why I posted the question. I haven't been able to figure it out. If it was happening with other sites, I think it was my puter, connection etc...but it is only TCI and it continues to be so.
    Any other ideas out there???

It could be the browser your using.

We do use a lot of latest technology for the website, and believe it or not Internet Explorer isn't the latest and greatest browser to use.

See if you can download the Mozilla Browser or FireFox Browser from www.mozilla.org.

I prefer the FireFox Browser, personally, just because it is Fast and Simple.
