If you were going to survey homeowners and renters, what would you put on the survey?



Here are a couple of things for each that I thought of:



Owners

I am planning to sell my house in the next 30 60 or _____ days.



The market value of my house is currently:

____ more than I owe

____ about the the same as what I owe





Renters

I am planning to buy a house in the next 30 60 or _____ days



The amount I have available for a down payment is:

___ less than $5000

___ $5000 to $10,000

    What is your goal with the questions and how are you going to get someone to complete it? You can find homes under water a number of places as you know.

    My understanding is that many lenders...Firsts and 2nds are not giving releases on SS deficiencies.... unless it is specifically stated otherwise in the short sale documents and legal recordings.

    Yes, in Florida, Lenders do have the right to go after homeowners for the deficiency amount in the SS AND in foreclosures when the Final Judgment is written that way.



    There are packages of deficiency judgements available for less than 10 cents on the dollar, but they are not City-specific, and may be from every State in the Union.
