I'm sure that you can glean some valuable information from that, or any intensive seminar... just be careful that you aren't overwhelmed and come away with unrealistic expectations.
Thanks for the reply.I have been considering the short sale approach due to the fact that it is such a sellers market in my area. I've been looking at the number of "notices of default"in my county and there are approximately 150 to 200 per month!!! I would think this would be a gold mine for short sale opportunities :-o Can anyone recommend a good course or book on the subject?[ Edited by snoonan on Date 03/19/2004 ]

Where do you get those notices? In your paper? I know in TN when I go home my mom's local paper they put EVERYTHING, who got married to foreclosures, to whos getting divorced, to whos in jail.
Try the TCI shop for some courses on short sales. I bought one from an outside website...it was pretty good, goes step by step what you have to do The guys name is D.C. Fowler . Pm me if you want the link, but check out the TCI shop 1st, I'm sure they have some great courses as well.
We purchased a Short Sale Course from Dwan Bent-Twyford and Sharon Restrepo. I have found it to be comprehensive and have been able to apply a lot of what they teach in the short sales I have done.
