Seller Filed Chapter 7 Prior To SS
I have a seller that has filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy about 10 days ago and now wants to do a SS.
What is your experience with bankruptcy being filed in this manner??
I did have one released from the bankruptcy but as the seller does not live in the property I am wondering if the situation might be different??
I am sure that in addition to the Ss I will have to have the trustee sign off on the sale.
I plan on still going forward on it as my worst SS was a 25 K deal on a flip. I have never held one yet. and have been doing from 2-5 a month

My attorney says to wait for 3-4 weeks to see how the 20,000 filings here shake out and how long it will take for the court to put it on the docket..

I’m not familiar with Nouveau Riche, but I would be real leery of anyone wanting to charge me $200/mo for a list of so-called investment properties.
There are all kinds of people, places, web sites, etc. that are happy to provide you their lists for free. It just depends on what it is you’re looking to do, and knowing what kind of properties you are looking for.
I might suggest spending some time on this web site. Look at the different forums, read some of the articles. There is a wealth of information, and a lot of very knowledgeable professionals here that are more than willing to help you. It’s a great place to start and you will learn a lot.
