Filling Out HUD-1 Question
Is it really a problem to use my name as Borrower on the HUD-1, or does it need to be an entity (which I don't have setup)?
I've heard that the person requesting the SS package should not show up as the buyer on the HUD-1 or the Purchase and Sale Agreement because the bank would know you are an investor, and they don't like to deal with investors. Is this correct??

Hi Swetbak,
You can place your own name or your entity on the HUD-1. If you are doing deals in your own name, use your own name. If you start using a corporation, go ahead and use it.
I have heard people say that banks dont like to work with investors, but I have never come across that problem. If there is a foreclosure and you can prove to the bank that you have the dollars to close the deal, and that it is in their best interest to sell to you, the chances are great that they will.
Best of Success!

BAMZ,
Thanks for confirming my thoughts.

Well, it works both ways. Some lenders don't care who's on the HUD-1. They just want to unload the property.
Other have the mindset that if an investor wants it ---there muct be more money to squeeze out of the deal.
Thanks for your input Sammy.

Hi Joel,
When do you expect the Hud-1 Generating tool to be up on this site?
