My question is brief...can one do a short sale while in a chapter 7 or if one has been filed...how does this affect the process or can I even do one
My research is telling me that if they file for bankruptcy it can kill the short-sale because the short-sale falls into the category of a "collections activity". In a bankruptcy, all collections must stop until the court approves them or the bankruptcy is discharged.
Perhaps someone with some real expertise can confirm if I got that right?
