Atlanta Short Sale Rookie-Need Help-asap On This One!
I sent homecoming the requested info express mail- on dec. 12-waited-waited-call dec. 22 and they said they have not received it-did my research with calls and found out that their mail man sent the mail to the wrong branch.
i did fax it to them (minus the pictures) the same day (dec. 22nd) andthen came christmas time.
the ladies home is scheduled to go to auction jan. 2nd. here in atlanta-What can i do to stop the sale till we can sette on a price?

Have the homeowner write or contact the bank explaining her intent of selling the property via short sale and that she would really appreciate their promptness. This is an urgent situation and she would need to get this point across. Depending on which sate, they can postpone the foreclosure date up to 90 days. Hard to do but it is possible.
Keep following through with the bank yourself as well.
