Short Sales On MH - Anyone Having Luck
I have tons of potential MH deals with units that are 10 years or older.... but they owe much more than it is worth and especially more than I'm willing to pay.
Anybody having luck on short sale or care to comment on their approach? :-? :-o
I too have spoken to MANY people trying to get out from under their mobiles. I have thought about attempting short sales, but have yet to do so. For one thing, in TX, the foreclosure lists only come out about 20 days before auction and frequently the land and home are separate parcels. I'd be interested in hearing others experiences as well. Good luck with that.
I haven't had any luck buying MH's before they repo, but after they do you can usually pick them up for 30% of NADA value. Especially in Texas. Last month I bought 8 16x80's (in Texas) 1997-1998 models in good shape for $42,000.
