Short Sales On Condos?

I am curious to know if there are any restrictions with short saling a condo that are not applicable to a single family residential property. Does this create any problems with the condominium association? Would the owner continue to pay the condo fees until the short sale was completed? Any information you can give would be great. There are a lot of condos foreclosing in my area and i'm trying to see how i can use them to get deals. -thanks
