I think its an idea the Fed Bailout TARP has already endorsed.... by giving $$ to nopnprofits with which to buy REO, or select properties via short sale and then lease back to the former owners.
However... you should not have the "lease-back" provision included in the Contract of Sale. It should be a stand alone agreement.
