Short Information For The State Of Utah

Can anyone tell me the following? I need it to fill in a short sale Excel spreadsheet that calculates an appropriate offer.

1) What is the standard realtor commission in Utah? I think it's 6% but someone told me 7%.

2) What is the right of redemption period (number of days) in the state of Utah once a property has been foreclosed upon?

3) How long can a person hold a property in Utah in bankruptcy without making payments (continuations)?

4) Does anyone know of a web site that lists the average time properties are on the market before sale? I need to get this infomration for a city in Utah.

    1. r/e commissions are fully negotiable and I don't believe that there is a "standard" fee. Though 7% is usually considered a high percentage, there are those companies that offer limited services for 2%...

For the purpose of your spreadsheet... use 6%.

    2. to my knowledge, there is no right of redemption following foreclosure in Utah

    3. bankruptcies can drag on for years

    4. call a re broker in the area you are working. ask for average DOM.
