Seminar Speaker Said He Never Pays Closing Cost!

i attended a seminar and the speaker said the appraisal, documentation, application and other fees are useless and can be avoided if i shop around?
he said the mortgage company is going to make over $100k on you in the next 15-30 years so why should they worry about $2k--ANYONE ELSE EXPERIENCES THIS? NO CLOSING COST?

Excellent, excellent post Money4RE! You should post this in the articles section.

Wow! That was a great explanation. Have you ever thought about submitting an article on that subject?

    Thank you so much.

It was impossible to understand why the fees are so high, and the interest rate is interesting.

As a side, I have never gotten away without any closing costs. Sounds like in reality it is not possible.

    Yeah by paying cash.
The seller in many places pays the doc stamp tax and the title insurance and pro rates the tax.
