Selling My Moble Home Dont Know Where To Start

Im selling my moble home and taking a pretty good loss to get rid of it rolleyes . The person interested in buying my home wants to put $8000 down and make payments to me. That is about half of what im asking for.

I dont know where to start as far as getting this in writing or if there are legality issues I need to address.

I would really like to avoid this mess and find somebody that will fianance the remaining $9000 for him. He claims the places he went to would not fianance a moble home. Maybe you all have any suggestions we could try first then it can be out of my hands forever! BTW the book value was 22500 last year im asking for 17K .

Links to example contracts would be nice.

Thanks!

Thats not true, or accurate would probably be a better word.

You can get financing but there are some determining factors.

What Size of Home is it? What Year is it?
    Year is a major factor!!!

Its a 1999 16x72 that includes the tongue. Yes I have found some places already that will finance newer mobile homes. I have gave the information to the buyer hopefully he will be approved. I cant see why not with the amount of money he is putting down.

    Thanks for the reply

He should be able to go to His own bank and get financing laying that much down.

However I will tell you this, SingleWide homes are much more dificult in getting financed than doublewides.

Good Luck with the sell of your Home
