Self Rental Rule
The Irs seems to be very tough on the act of renting office space personally owned to a business in which you participate under the self rental rule. I am purchasing a building personally and will rent out a portion to a business I own through an s corp .the building will likely not cash flow, I do however own another rental which will cash flow How will these recharecterazation rules and self rental rule effect my taxes regards this building ?
