Not aware of a video in any other Section 8 program region, but it does not hurt to call your local Section 8 housing authority to ask.
What is it that you really want to know about renting to Section 8 clients? There are limits on the amount of money that is given out for bedroom number. The voucher holder will contact the landlord to view the unit. If they like the unit, then they go back to the housing office and request a safety inspection of the unit. If the unit passes, you then complete the application process showing the amount of rent charged, utility payments, lead paint, ect. After that you go into the housing office to complete the final paper work. You should start receiving your monthly payment from the housing office within a few weeks. The tenant is also responsible for paying their portion of the rent.
You are responsible for screening section 8 tenants just as you would with anyone else. Section 8 does not pay for any damages caused by tenants.
All of the other rules that apply are give to you at the time you complete the initial paper work.
