Section 8 Inspection
I have a sec 8 inspection in about 2 weeks. The tenant has changed bottom lock & never keeps a battery in the smoke detector. What shall I tell sec 8, I am tried of this tenant. I want this tenant out but I want to keep the apartment under sec8 because the money for rent is direct dep, just having a hard time getting rent portion from the tenant. What can I do, I working on a new lease. Tenant also has a broken down car that has been in the back of the apartment forever. I have told this tenant about this several times and I want it moved. What can I do?

S-8 re-inspection, this will be the second inspection for this existing tenant.
When I last put a battery in the detector is was working. I believe this tenant smokes dope & takes the battery out.
I am working on a new lease to cover all this. When I bought this property this tenant was already in place & I used the existing weak lease from the previous owner who did not give a rip.
