Section 8 Austin Texas

I am planning to buy some small single family homes in Austin TX. 1/1, 2/1, & 2/2. I would like to rent them out to elderly folks on Sec 8, they seem to fit the profile of a more desireable tenant.

Does anyone have any experience with this in general or specifically in the Austin area?

    My Section 8 experience is here in Atlanta. If you have any general questions feel free to ask.

    Your first step will be to visit the Section 8 office and get all the information they have available for landlords. Smile a lot and shake some hands.
