Section 8 And MH
Is it possible to get a MH qualified for Section 8 or do they not do them? What about a MH with land, not in a park?

look in the white pages of your county phone book --look at the section called housing and call that number --I have had no problem with section 8 and mobile homes--they do an inspedtion of the property and your must comply with their codes.

While Sec.8 people would have no problem with their customer being in a MHP, the MHP sure might.
Most MHPs in our area allow NO RENTALS, so Sec 8 there would be nonexistent.
So first find out if your MHP would allow ANY rentals; if so, then you could advertise it for Sec.8.
I have talked to managers in 5 parks. The five largest ones in the area. 3 of them allow renters but they want to screen the renters themselves. Fine with me. They are probably better at it then I am anyway. Very agreeable, friendly managers. They actually liked the idea because then the home stays in the park.
That is good advice though John. I always enjoy reading your posts, because they seem filled with experience.
