Anyone know what unconscionable advantage means in regards to 1695.13?

We'd all like to know what that means! As you can see it’s not defined. Gotta remember that civil codes are written by politicians so they don't have to make sense. Seriously don't lie and always use integrity in all your dealing with people and you shouldn't have a problem.

When a seasoned foreclosure pirate hears what his competitiion did to a defaultee- and swollows hard or thinks , "Gee, I wish I had thought of that", that 's unconscionable advantage:

The legal definition is as foloows:
"Unconscionable bargaining involves one party taking advantage of the other party’s particular vulnerability or lack of understanding such that it would be unconscionable to take the benefit of the contract".
So basically it happens when a distressed homeowner does not understand the implications of entering into the contract which will take advantage of their financial situation. Or even more simple terms: you screw them over without them even knowing it.
