  I have never heard of Scott Riser.
  
  How did you hear about him? What do you know based on what you have read? Have you looked at JL's course on this site?

  I did some searching and found a link to his information. Ignore the prior question about the URL, etc.
  
  1. Check into getting John Locke's materials. Lots of good reviews as you will see if you take a look.
  
  2. Consider finding a partner who will help front the costs of the materials.
  
  As to ideas that you can find on the forum...
  
  There have been multiple posts. Direct mail, driving around, investor clubs (wholesale and flips), hiring a bird dog, Realtors (for certain types of deals), calling the news paper and other things have been discussed.
  
  Check the articles. I am not sure what might be there.
  
  A concern in you posted another note where you said you do not have much money. Based on the little I read on Scott's site you will need cash to do mailings. This can be profitable but you need the cash up front to mail enough post cards, etc. Spending $500 on the course is about the same as the price of a good mail shot.

  We currently use Ca$h's system with success and Funds are not the problem. We are currently doing a 2400 postcard mailing per month, and we have bandit signs all over our marketing area. We just want more deals (consistancy). We are just looking for a way to get more deals. We average 2-5 deals per month but could handle double that.
  Scott's info spoke of more deals than you can handle. Thats what we wanted to know about. DOES IT WORK???

  I use Scott's software. The only reason it doesn't get me all the motivated sellers I can handle is I don't send enough mail pieces out fast enough. If you input enough names it will definately get motivated sellers to call you. I am currently using only Scott Risters marketing software after trying about 10 different marketing methods.

  I have listened to Scott's course and heard him in person. He is not a Subject To person, he is a primarily a wholesaler who also specializes in probates. He writes a lot of letters to find his wholesale deals.
