Sample Letter

I am looking for a sample letter as I pay off some debts. We are not behind on these debts, but when we do send in the final payment, I want to attach a letter that states that if they cash the check they aree I have paid the debt in full as agreed. I am also looking to include a request that the contact all 3 CRAs to advise I have paid in full and close the account(s). I remember seeing one somewhere but not sure where. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    I don't think you should go about it this way. I have found it easier to pay something off and just give them a ring a few days after they get final payment. Most creditors will send you a copy of what they send to the credit bureaus.
