recently attended a Robert Allen seminar which was professionally done and the presenter seemed to have very good credentials. He has been a very successful real estate investor which he claimed was due to the training he received through the Robert Allen Institute. Their pitch, of course, is to get you to pay $3,000 for a three days of training to learn their system.
I decided to check out the RA Institute and one of the links took me to TCI web site and was wondering if they're affiliated? Also, I checked out another link and found a scathing review written by an individual that reviews business opportunities. He really didn't have any good things to say about Mr. Allen to the point of wondering how someone this well known could be that unscrupulous. Has any one had an experience with RAI and how it compares with some of the other information out there? Thanks!

Do a search at the top on Robert Allen. There's been MANY long topics, and much written about him here. As far as TCI and Robert Allen being affiliated, I don't think they are.
How was the price of $3,000 determined? Is it the same for everybody? I recently researched similar services from a program offered by Robert Shemin. After asking about my current income and what my credit card limits were, I was told that the fee for their services would be $5,250, which just coincidentally happened to be the limit of one of my credit cards, which seemed strangely coincidental. I would try to ascertain whether your price was based on what they ** thought ** you could pay. However, in the end, if you find it to be good information, would be interested to hear back...
My husband and I attended a Robert Allen 3 day seminar as novice investors. We came away with a wealth of knowledge that allowed us to begin REI armed with what we needed to accumulate properties in 3 months time with little of our own money and increase our net worth by $500,000. We recently attended another 3 day seminar to focus more on our particular niche, foreclosures. I highly reccomend the Robert Allen seminars and would encourage any would be investor to get armed with knowledge before you begin this venture.
