Right Of Redemption
In Minnesota the owner has a 6 month right of redemption. Could I buy the house from the owner after the sale but during this time. Also would the bank be willing to cut a deal? I was just thinking it would save the bank money. No listing fees, repairs etc. Is there a benefit to the seller? After it is sold on the court house steps their credit is lost and a foreclosure is put on the credit report right?
Has anyone done this. I was told be a bank last week wait until today's sale then work with owner on a short sale. Not to stress you have 6 months.
If you have any input please let me know. Thanks......
No one has done this before? Either this is a bad idea or a great new avenue. Can anyone help? Thanks
