Right Of Redemption In HI

a friend lost his condo recently in HI but received a 30 day right of redemption in the mail. He would like to keep this property if possible. i dont know what to tell him. what can he do?

    Why do you think this was a tax sale and not a foreclosure sale? What was the clue in the original post?

    What’s that they say “My Bad”? I guess because I do not do foreclosures, am not familiar with them and when I saw the words “Right of Redemption” I just connected it to a tax sale. Again, My Bad. I have notice your post. Boy, you sure are one sharp cookie. I would do well to emulate you.
