Retirement???

My first post here.

I have been a LL for 2 yrs. I own 10 rentals with 18 tenants. Some I won outright and some I dont. I know my specific situation is different from all of you.

My question is basically, does anyone here do LandLording fulltime?

I was curious if there are people who have mortgages on their properties, and dont have regular jobs..

Thanks

This is the landlord forum. Here experienced landlords address questions and problems other landlords and future landlords may have concerning property management or tenant relations.

Many of us own some property free and clear, and have mortgage loans on other property.

Many of us are part-time landlords while working other jobs, others of us don't have any W-2 income -- just unearned income.

I am curious, how are you different from all of us.

I meant the amount of money I need to do this fulltime. Everyone has different needs. I was just curious if there are alot of people out there who do this full time with mortgages

hmm... i think the question might be: can you generate enough positive cash flow WITH mortgages on the propertys so that you dont have to work?

    Am I wrong?

Sort of. I have a good enough cash flow to stop working, I have always had a job. My situation about why Im still working is psycological. Im curious about the "masses."

why are still working? what do you do?
