Renting To Tenant In Bankruptcy
Does it make any sense to rent to a tenant that is currently going through bankruptcy? Apparently, their bankruptcy will be discharged in May and they look good on paper. They were in a lease-to-own before the bankruptcy but had to back out after filing.
Is there any significant difference between chapter 7 and chapter 11 when it comes to tenants?
They seem to have the funds, and according to their credit report were doing well till the just before the bankruptcy.
Any ideas?
