Rental Permit Fees. How Much In Your Area?
For those of you that have to pay rental permit fees how much do you pay?
Here in newark, Delaware the city charges $300 per unit per year. So a duplex would run $600 even if its a single parcel.
is this as outrageous as we think?
In Winona MN it is 200 for a duplex every five years. It is called an inspection fee/Rental licence. Now in just a 45 mile radius it ranges from no licence needed to 600 a unit. each city does what it wants.
Taxes are double what they are for homestead and are risen faster than those who are homesteaded.
I find it strange that government claims to want us to provide good rentals for those that are unable to get a home of their own yet they go out of their way to but up road blocks. Anti-investor laws, strange rules stopping us from providing rentals. I wish I knew what they where thinking.
