Rental Agreement Change?
Has anyone heard of changing a rental agreement after tenant has lived in unit over a year?
I am taking over the management for my Mothers properties and see some changes that need to be made. The original rental agreement, month to month, gives teneants too much time for delinquent rent payment before a notice is due, among other things like tenant respnsiblity to keep their crap off of common property...
have they been delinquent? have they been trashing the property? if yes to both then this is the tme to tell them no renewal. A new Agreemnt will not change the type of tenants they are. If they pay well then keep them till Spring, after all it is a month to month Agreement and you do not have to replace it. If no action is taken then the same Agreement continues,just
overlook the trash for a little longer.
