Rehabbing Modular/sectional Homes
Does anyone have experience of remodelling sectional or modular homes? I occasionally see what might be good deals, but I have tended to be scared off by the thought that one would need to find special materials--windows/doors/etc.--for the particular brand. Am I right about this, or do the generic materials available at Lowes or Menards work for this type of home?

The materials in a modular home are the same as those used in stick built homes. You may not find the windows at lowes--but if you check who manufactured the windows you should be able to find a local supplier. Doors you can get anywhere.
