Just Getting Started - Looking For Sources Of Info...

Hi All,

I'm just starting to research rehabbing properties, and I'm looking for a good source of information. I've looked on Amazon for books, but its very difficult to tell one from another. I need something to get me started before I start bothering you all with silly questions. Does anyone have a good book or other source of info?

I'm looking to answer questions like:
-Should I incorporate (form an LLC)?
-If so, how should I fund the company - small business loan, cash?
-What are some of the basic rules of the trade?
-Are there tricks to identifying candidate properties and what it would take to bring them up to par?

The list goes on... Any help to point me in the right direction would be much appreciated.

Thanks!
Art

Art, I am in the same stage of planning as yourself. I am currently in Kuwait with the US Army and when I get back to the states I plan to create an LLC. I've decided that this was not a bad idea after visiting a few web sites that have information about the LLC and real estate.

Thanks all, for all your help! I'll pick up a couple of the books suggested and of course, read the forums religiously.
