Investor Fees? Are These In The Norm? Newbie!
Hi - Another newbie here. I have lined up all my vendors, title company, appraiser, attorney, etc., but I am a tad bit confused about my investor/partner. He charges 5 points on the loan and 20% of the profits. Is this in the norm of the investment realm?

Thank you for the fast response. I will heed your advice and look at hard money lenders. This is the first time I dealt with an investor.
When locals come to me with a "partnership" deal, I charge no points, but I fund the entire deal, add my expertise, put my name on the deed and require 50% of the profits.
5 points and 20% is not bad.
