HUD Redemption Period
I bought a home at the auction and was informed that hud had a 120 day redemption period in which to "override" my purchase. I'm not worried about them wanting the house, it's just that nobody can seem to tell me when the redemption period started. was it when I won the bid,the date of the confirmation hearing, or the
day I filed the deed.
Who informed you of the HUD 120 day rule. I would ask them for specific information on this. HUD would be regulated by federal statutue, and being an investor in Colorado and purchasing many foreclosures I have never heard of such a law. please let me know what you find out.
P.S. most redemption periods start at the day of actual sale.
