Converting Lg House To Apts
I'm interested in coverting a large house to apartments. I'm just begining my research but don't want to spend too much time on it if the numbers won't work. I believe the property will conviently allow for 5 units, mostly two bedroom (it's big). It's appears to be in great shape. It has 3 full baths and 2 half baths, one kitchen. The big wild card for me is splitting the utilities. It has hot water oil heat.
I would really appreciate it if someone could give me their thoughts on splitting utilities or anything relating to a project of this nature.

Check with your local zoning and building department....they can answer most of your questions on if it is possible and how to do it right...
