Rehabbing MHs?

I like to rehab homes but have never considered MH rehabbing. Can anyone who does this advise on what to look for in a rehab? Obviously a good park and ugly MH but is there much money to be made this way. Do you rehab and hold or flip? Thanks in advance!

Oh, I thought you MH pros out there painted and recarpeted before sale on a regular basis. Maybe I need to rethink the strategy.

    Thanks for the input John.

If it soaks up the paint use a coat or two of tinted primer first as primer is cheaper than paint. Afterwards you can put one coat of cheap paint to complete the coverage. A coat of tinted primer or any primer for that matter will save money in your painting project because less coats of paint will be necessary for adequate coverage.

Mr. Merchant hit the nail on the head.. Panel that rascal if you do anything at all. On the other side, I have never had paint soak into the rock on a MH interior paint job unless I was replacing the rock itself.. Thats a pretty ambitious undertaking.. Otherwise there are probably a dozen base coats on it already.
