I use national estimator the most, that said, it is an art and not an exact science and you have to know enough about the components of building to enter all the pertinent data into the program.
I signed up for a free month of cost data (previous posters link) and put one of my projects through it. I though it was about $400 high on the materials but that would be a good thing if you want to be safe.
