redemption period?????
Hi people, im new to this site and i have to say what an impressive group of self motivated folks you all are...anyways, i just got done reading a post about a question concerning redemption periods..from my understanding some states give redemption periods of up to six months after said auction..my question is this---what kind of deals can be made with the soon to be ex-owner of the property during this redemption period?
If he wants the property back he can get it.. You know how many lawyers or other influential friends would love to help them out- So it sucks to live in a Redemption state.. who can afford to hold a property for 6 months to a year before you can fix it up?
That being said, from what I've read very few owners are ever able to exercise their right of redemption
