Recording An Updated Version Of A Lease Option Or Memo

If a Lease Option or memo is recorded, what implications, if any, will there be if another slightly different version is recorded a few weeks later. I don't think this can be considered an "correction" or "re-recording". Can a clause be inserted into the slightly different, newly recorded document such that "this document supercedes previous" versions involving the same property/document, etc.

Yes, the 2d, corrected Agreement should so state, in big letters so anybody can see it's the latter agreement.

More important, why are you recording?

If you're the owner and you're L/O'ing the RE, maybe recording is not in your best interest.

In fact I purposely omit notary's acknowledgment in my REC's, as it's rarely to my benefit to record my selling conrtracts...whereas if I'm the buyer, or guy buying an option, you bet I want that recorded.
