Real Estate Website
Anyone have one of these I just made one (very primitive) and was wondering what people thought about it. Too bland? http://www.tcfb.com/realty/index.html
Let me know and also if they see an increase in business with one. Thanks!

If you put the web address on business cards, flyers and signage, I can see it maybe adding some legitamacy in the eyes of potential customers. I don't think the site will generate much in the way of leads as a stand alone vehicle. My wife has an internet business that is doing very well but it took a ton of advertising and placement on search engines to generate the type of traffic required to do business.
I think it is definitely worthwhile as an addition to your existing marketing.
Thanks John for your honest answer. That was really what I was going for. Any suggestions on improvement of it? Did you think the aerial photo added to the site? I wish I had a good picture of people closing on a house smiling or something...
I think websites are vital in today's business environment especially if you can generate some traffic to it.
As for your website it is on the bland side which is okay--loads quickly. I'd use bullet points rather than text paragraphs because most people don't want to read through a lot of stuff but we are conditioned to catch and read bullet points. Have your company name stand out more.
Good luck!
Q
That aerial photo is kind of interesting...
Thinking of selling your home?
Worried about foreclosure?
Crop-circles in your backyard?
We buy houses for cash...
It's a decent site- but I agree that it won't stand alone. Focus on networking in the community and generating leads via the newspaper, ect. The site is a good thing to refer people to, however.
Good luck!
I can't put a website address in here since I'm a newbie in TCI. I was reffered to a website especially for Real Estate Investors. Set up fee is only $25 and $25 per month. It includes everything an investor wants to have in a website including the 'FREE Report On How You Can Sell Your House In 9 Days Or Less'. What's cool is you can try it out 10 days free, they won't even ask you for your credit card to try it out.
If anybody's interested, you may send me a private email. I'll even show you guys my websites that I made from it.
Hope this helps,
TF
