Real Estate Market In Massachusetts
I have been looking at the market in Massachusetts and its going crazy. Just about everything I have seen is way over valued. How can you find good deals in a market like this?[ Edited by MarkBarbato on Date 05/26/2004 ]
Wait until it is www.over.In this wild Ca market ,bandit signs or the only thing that worked for me, in this current hot maket. And the pickings our steel slim.
Are there still deals in a sellers market? Or is it best to hold off? And if there are still deals then how would you go about finding them?[ Edited by MarkBarbato on Date 05/26/2004 ]
Hello Mark,
I'm a RE broker in MA. About five hours ago I met with a fellow who just sold a property for 120k more than he paid for it 9 months ago. Seven hours from now I will be in a closing where the seller is taking a 100K+ loss on a property he bought two years ago. In other words.........they're out there!! Not always easy to find, but the deals do exist!!!!
Good Luck!
I just took a peek at your area. There is a two family on in the 2's, on a 1/2 acre, with decent cash flow (2,200 per month). It looks like it might benefit from some improvements. Compared to the singles on the market, it looks quite well priced. Perhaps worth a look for you. It's listed with Remax First.
Also, you're not too far from Princeton. A few years ago I tried to do something there. I don't know if there is still opportunity in that market. It HAD great promise back then. Might also be worth a look from you.
Thank you Boston for the advice. I will keep looking
:-? What is the market like in Brockton, MA or Boston, MA for deals. I am interested in multi-family, apartment buildings, and fixer uppers.
