Real Estate Investing Club/ Landlord Association

I want to rub shoulders with more investors in my area, Binghamton Ny, but am unsure as how to find them. Many people suggest joining a REI Club or Landlord association, but I am unsure of how to locate these groups in my area. Any help would be appreciated.

If you want to be involved in a large law suit and risk losing your house and even garnishing your wages, then go ahead and skirt the requirments. Not to scare, but landlords are one of the most sued groups. And if you are personally negligent or have a total disregard for the laws, the corporate vail does not protect you.

Why risk a lawsuit for a couple hundred bucks?

    Datalynx,
Send me an email via the forum and i will send you my personal contact info. I am doing this for a group of investors and it is working out really well. I will share with you some things my attorneys have told me as well as some details that will be of interest to you.

Lavonc, why not share your information with the group? That is the purpose of the forum.

Lavonc, it can be brutal sometimes, but this is not a perfect world and we all take some calculated risks. But just the same, it is good for others to inform the public what are the risks. So we gain knowledge here, but in the end we must all make our own informed decisions. And of course I would come to your defense.
