We've Seen Some Great Games
I feel lik,e I've seen some great games at this years Olympics. I enjoy watching them and mss them when they are over.
Matter of fact a friend and I have decided to go and see the next summer Olympics wherever they may be. I'll be forty-one. Damn that seems old! But It's my goal.
With REI, I know it can be achieved!

The next summer games are in Beijing, China. If you're serious about going, better book the hotel room now. Although they're building more, Beijing does not have enough hotel rooms and the ones they have are filling super fast.
The games have been great. Hats off to the Greeks did a fantastic job when everyone thought they'd fall flat on their face.
Amazing althletic competition aside, I really love watching the closing ceremonies. It's a time when the pressure is off the host country and they get to really celebrate and display their rich culture for the world. And then they hand off to the next host country which shows you just a peek at their own rich culture. While the closing ceremonies ended up dragging on a bit and did get somewhat annoyng with that musical chairs performance from all the Greek pop stars, overall it was a wonderful diplay of Greek music, culture, and hospitality. My wife and I are already talking about where in Greece we want to go next year.
