Chris-
Very sorry to hear that. Your posts have been the lifeblood of this site and your invaluable insights will be missed. But I cannot blame you for wanting not to return. Buddhism teaches that attachment, to anything, brings sadness. In my view, it is best to slowly let go of your life in real estate and focus on the task ahead. Heal yourself and seek comfort and support from your family and close friends. Good luck to you Chris.
Are there really any coincidences in life? I have not been here for awhile, so I did not notice your absence; I would have noticed if I had been around. You give honestly and openly.
You have received many gifts already in these writings I see. Like-minded souls who come here to gather, share, or give. Like you have. --
I see offers. I see prayers. I see ideas. I see support. I see permission. I see caring.
May you continue along your path with gentleness and joy for your changed energy, insights, gifts.
May you know that the pebbles that you have layered to create your path are precious, many, and valuable.
May you know that your energy can change from physical to mental to wise with no regrets.
May you know Joy. Peace. Serenity. May you allow others to give to you. May your vision change to incorporate those who you love, who love you.
I have found that many humans look at the outside of what a wo/man produces, creates, is. They stop there.
Your inside (character, soul, BEism) has just as much to give. Anyone who has learned the value of taking a problematic, hurt, neglected, energy-less house and creating (thru any or all of the needed energies-vision/muscle/knowledge/connections) a home of beauty/hope/usefulness has created visions that can be shared and taught. ~~ Balance. Joy. Hope. ~~
May your Attitude support your Health and care for you well. Strength toward changes to you, dear friend. Here is hoping you the best (and hoping to still see you around),

I too am sorry to learn about your health condition. You have provided readers at TCI with great insight about the rehabbing "business" (and other REI subjects) through your numerous, high quality posts. I have noticed that your post volume has been lower, and honestly on a few occasions wondered What would Chris do/say? regarding some of the topics in the rehab forum. I will (and already do) miss your contribution.
Chris, thank you for sharing your experiences with me and for your sound advice. You have directly helped me get back on track when I needed it and your willingness to share your true experiences has provided a realness that online forums often lack. I have often printed your posts so as to be able to access and re-read them when the situation was applicable. Your input here will be missed.
Chris, I am still pretty new at this, and always looked forward to your posts. I was actually logging in today to see whether there was any news on your health.
My thoughts are with you and your family--I am hoping for the best.
I thought you guys would want to know that I ran across some posts by Chris on another site. He was posting some this month but, from what I read, it sounds like he is still dealing with his serious health issues.
Wish him the best,
Jim
good luck, and best wishes.
Chris
So sorry to hear about your health condition. I will remember you in my prayers. Hopefully, God will let you beat the odds.
I agree with RKC. You have so much experience and knowledge to share with TCI even if you are no longer actively investing.
Please stay on the boards as long as you can.
