Quit Claim & Divorce
I am going thru a divorce right now, we have two houses that are considered community property. My estranged husband is trying to qualify for a new home loan on another house that he will only live in. He wants me to quit claim the house in FL to him and he will quit claim the house to me here in CA. Will this force me to refinance the house in only my name & based on my income? How will I know if this action will trigger a sale clause in the loan. I feel as though he is trying to do something shady and underhanded.

I met a person who has an interest in selling but have already filed bankruptcy. I was unsure what to tell them or where to go.
