Quit Claim Deed In Colorado

Do I have any financial rights to a home that I quit claim deed to my ex-partner. I am still on the mortgage and she has not refinanced and given me my proceeds for the dwelling. Is the quick claim deed even valid if a bank lien is on the property. confused

If that was possible it would be a dream come true.

Something else that was funny, I had a broker pull my score and we did that very thing you mentioned.....bought a property with my financing and then quit claim deeded it. She said that the financing didnt show up when she pulled it. I found that to be very weird, and so did she. I didnt argue! I do still know that my name is on the loan.

The lien just moves to the next owner. Just because he sells the house does not mean that the lein will be settled.

The language and form necessary for the lien will be different in each county of every state. Check with whoever does the liens in your ocunty. They will probably have what you need.
