Quick Question For Florida Landlords

From what i can gather, the laws for ending a lease a tenant state it is based on the length of the lease agreement. 1 year lease = 60 days, quarter to quarter = 30 days, month to month = 15 days, week to week = 7 days.
Do individual counties have their own requirements? I'm not talking about an eviction, just a normal lease termination.
thanks smile

It should be the same in all counties. If any question, just call your county and ask for details.

The law in Florida is simple. In the absence of a lease, landlord must give a notice to the tenant equal to the term rent is paid. If rent is paid every thirty days, then a thirty day notice is all that is required. Otherewise the notice period is determined by the lease.
