Question About LLC/Trust/Attorneys
HI,
Can someone comment on or refer me to some good reading on setting up the following as a new REI?
1)LLC
2)Trust
3)Organizing your team (accountant, attorney, brokers,etc)
I am unclear on the LLC and trust issues when it comes to properties. For examples, I set my company up as an LLC (or maybe S-corp) to protect my assets. Then when I purchase a property, I put it in a Trust to hide it. Is this correct?
Are there costs for setting up each trust or putting the property into the same trust each time?
How do you find a decent attorney and what do they typically (avg.) charge for whatever you will need them to do?
Where can I find out about this stuff?
